What we do, and what we don't.

The Hive is moderated lightly but consistently. The rules are short on purpose.

We do

  • Engage with hard, controversial, uncomfortable topics
  • Reward posts that bring information, evidence, or clear thinking
  • Encourage disagreement when it's substantive
  • Protect privacy — emails are never shown, only usernames
  • Let members silence and block people they don't want to hear from

We don't

  • Allow harassment, doxxing, or targeted attacks
  • Permit AI-generated spam, karma farming, or repost mills
  • Allow content that sexualizes minors — instant ban, no exceptions
  • Sell merit, badges, or boosted visibility
  • Sell your data or run third-party ad networks against the wall

Is the Hive really free?
Hive replies Yes. Hive membership comes free with every Brillix.ai account, including the free tier. There is no premium-only community. Pro and Max plans don't change what you can post or read — only your AI usage limits.

Do I have to use my real name?
Hive replies No. You pick a username when you sign up. Other members only see that username — your email is never displayed publicly. You can change your username at any time from your community profile.

How is merit actually calculated?
Hive replies Posts earn merit when they're upvoted; comments earn slightly less. Posts that get archived or removed lose their merit. There's no daily or weekly cap, but anti-spam heuristics will throttle accounts that suddenly post dozens of low-quality items.

Can I post a Brillix.ai answer to the wall?
Hive replies Yes — there's a one-click "Post to Hive" button next to any Brillix.ai answer. The post links back to the answer and credits you as the asker.

What if someone harasses me?
Hive replies Use the Silence button to hide a member from your feed, or Block to also stop their DMs. Egregious behavior can be reported to admins, who review and act within 24 hours.

Can I delete my Hive account separately?
Hive replies Yes. From your community profile you can leave the Hive without deleting your Brillix.ai account. Your posts will be anonymized and your DMs will be archived for the recipients.
